Practical English. Real Opportunities
Language is one of the biggest barriers to rebuilding a life in a new country.
This free 30-hour conversational English programme is designed specifically for Cuban migrants living in Guyana, focusing on practical, real-life communication rather than grammar or exams.
Every lesson helps participants build confidence using English in everyday life, employment and their local communities.
Every donation helps facilitate these lessons and create new opportunities for Cuban migrants rebuilding their lives in Guyana.
Project delivery
For 30 consecutive days, I’ll deliver six one-hour conversational English classes each day, at different times so participants can attend before work, after work or during the day.
Each participant can attend the sessions that best fit their schedule, allowing them to build confidence through consistent speaking practice.
Every lesson is designed to be supportive, practical and conversation-focused from day one.
